Stir-Fried Noodles with Chinese Five Spice Sausage

There’s this awesome spice shop near where I live and I just bought some spices there, including Chinese Five Spice, which came with this lovely little recipe! So I tried it…

Totally good, with some caveats:

– I used edamame spaghetti for my noodles. Not the best choice. The “sauce” is super thin and light in flavor, so you need really tasteless/absorbent noodles.

– I didn’t have chili-garlic sauce so I just added in garlic, red pepper flakes, sugar, and rice vinegar. This worked ok, but probably better if you actually follow the recipe on this one.

– Everything takes longer than they say it’s going to (but it’s still pretty quick, once you have everything chopped)

– I used a really big pot and thank goodness! This makes a lot of food.
