Applesauce Pie with Cheerios Crust

The kids request this morning: Applesauce pie – and it turns out this is actually a thing! But it required making a crust, and neither of us had the patience for that. I decided to make a graham cracker crust but use cheerios instead of graham crackers (since that’s what I have). We also used coconut sugar instead of regular sugar in both recipes (hence the pie looks nothing like applesauce) and I forgot the vanilla in the pie filling – oops!

The pie was sweet and appley but ultimately not my favorite, though the kid was a fan. And the cheerios crust was a hit with everyone!
